Words from a Bench

Today is the big launch of Words from a Bench. Visit Rowntree park, York,  head for the middle of the park and you will find QR codes on the benches. The QR codes are designed so that, as you sit on the park bench (on a crisp and bright winters day, to romanticise), you can snap the code on your phone, tablet, etc and be taken direct to an individual piece of poetry or prose by a local author. Brilliant or what! 

The talent on display includes Adrian P Fayter (author of the recently launched 'Death Benefit'), Karen Hill-Green (poet, author and editor of the project), Lucy Marsh (MA Creative Writing, York St John), Laura Hyde (Check out her youtube channel), Laura Munteanu (MA Creative Writing, York St John) and myself.
