Heading to York Literature Festival

Running on from its success last year, York Literature Festival, are running their Hub again this year. This is a space where York Literature festival aim to 'highlight the depth of creative talent from the city of York.' Its a very cool idea and is being supported by York Theatre Royal as well as  few other locations. 

Guess what?

This year my proposal to run an event about Serious Flash Fiction has been excepted and, to be honest, I am proper chuffed! I'll be at York Theatre Royal on the 17th of March talking about flash fiction, reading some of our best entries from the project and giving people the chance to try their hand at some flash fiction of their own. It is going to be pretty fun.

So, yes, this is more of a plug than a blog - please forgive me. But it would be amazing to see you there. 

Hub events are either very cheap or free, with a request that anyone coming along donates what they think the session was worth to help support the Festival and local writers. I have opted for the free version and hope anyone coming along will chuck a couple of quid in to keep the festival and this great opportunity going.
