York Literature Festival
In March 2019, I was given the brilliant opportunity to appear for the second time at York Literature Festival.
There I ran a writing session called 'Exploring Stories - A Flash Fiction Workshop'. The session explored flash fiction, what makes a story and story structure. Story structure, based on film/theatre theory, is a big passion of mine and for the session I created my own structure support guide. I may even bring a few of those tips to the website soon, so keep an eye out. This is part of York Literature Festivals creative hub, which invites local groups, artists and writers to propose their own events as part of the festival. It's a great idea and an even better opportunity for writers like me. York Literature Festival appears to be a very big event, but the team behind it are relatively small and includes a lot of volunteers. Help me support this brilliant event by getting along. It runs in March every year. |
